Hellooo loves! The other day I took a girls trip up to Salvation Mountain and had my mind completely blown:) For those of you who don't know it's locate right next to this little ghost town right out of movie called Brawley. When we decided to take the trip, Siri told us that it would only take about 2.5 hours from San Diego but actually ended up taking close to fours hours to reach out final destination. This summer I really wanted to take the time to explore the world and I really felt like this was just the kind of place that my soul needed. Just last week I officially became a senior in high school and the weirdest thing happened; something clicked in my mind and I have been nonstop thinking about traveling and blogging ( haha as I'm doing right now). I guess I subconsciously just want to experience as much as possible and the little time that I have left and I got just that at Salvation Mountain. We had been a little apprehensive because apparently it's located in what they call "free territory" and not many rules apply there but we had no issues along the way (despite the owner who yelled at me for sitting on what he called the artwork;) ) So lets get down to it; since it's literally in the middle of nowhere you'll definitely need to pack some things. Bring lots of water and snacks for the road trip. I brought along a hat and am o glad that I did because the sun was really strong that day. Just a reminder that if you eat a lot like me haha then make sure to pack extra food because it disappears really fast!!!
Ohhh and you can't forget the car charger, especially if you want to have enough battery to take supa cute pics once you get there!
So that pretty much sums it up for this post and I really hope that this was more than helpful. It's such a nice day trip whether u want to go solo or with a group:)
