Senior Citizen Who?

Guess who officially joined the club....MOI. Even though I don't qualify for the senior discount at Panera or get 10 percent off my latest purchase at Top Shop, I'm finally a senior in high school and the grind is real. Full disclosure: Senioritis is my new best friend. I wanted to share this post today because it was a really special moment in my life and I can't imagine sharing it with anybody else. Realizing that you only have one more first day of school is a bitter sweet moment and it's something that you really just have to take in strides. There also comes a sense of pride with realizing that you are now the oldest grade in school and that so many of the younger kids look up to you. Gosh, I remember when I first came into ninth grade and was freaked out when the boys with beards walked past me hahaha. But obviously the best part of going back to school is getting your school supplies and planning your outfit for the first day so I'll indulge your inner child and get down to it ;)

I'm such a wierdo so naturally I pre-ordered all of my supplies from Typo (which is the stationary section of Cotton On) at the beginning of summer. I've shopped there before when I needed some basic wardrobe essentials and found that they were pretty good quality for the price and so I wanted to give their school supplies a try too!!! What's great is that they have this program where you can sign up and get a major discount on your first purchase so I reallyyyyyyy took advantage of it when I purchased my supplies. I'm literally the type of person who gets excited when she gets a new notebook and have an obsession with pens ( hahaha can't help it) and this was definitely the place to go for me. Of course I made it my mission to color coordinate every notebook and I was on a roll.

Now the first day outfit was a whole other ordeal...... I like to consider myself a perfectionist and so I might have been a little too obsessive in terms of how many outfits I tried on until I found the perfect combo:) For some reason I went with a more casual feel ( which is the opposite of what I usually do) and actually really like the way it turned out. I paired my "Al Dente" Reformation top with a new pair of Reformation jeans , which I am totally obsessed with. I used to HATE jeans and so I searched for so long to find the comfiest jeans with the cutest cut for my shape; I instantly fell in love with them. For shoes, I wore my all star converse platforms ( because I wanted to add a few inches) but honestly, any casual sneaker would do.

I took a few minutes for makeup and then lightly curled my hair to give it a beachy vibe. That pretty much concludes my look and in the pics down below you can see "I did my best" tote from Bando:)))

I hope you enjoyed this post and I'll catch you later, xoxo Hannah
